You may want to consider the size and location of your home when planning where you will be placing your new fireplace. The ideal area should have enough room for the unit, access doors, and chimney flue (if needed). If space is tight in certain areas of your home, choose other alternatives such as electric or gas log inserts which do not require any installation at all!
